PFLAG Oakland-East Bay is a local chapter of PFLAG National, celebrating 45 years as the nation’s largest family and ally organization uniting people who are LGBTQ+ with families, friends, and allies. PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.
We have 2 monthly meetings - one in Oakland, one in Berkeley. We organize and participate in community activities furthering equality, affirmation, and respect for all people, inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender expression, and gender identity.

Our speaker Tuesday, February 27 is Anna Lijphart, Executive Director and co-founder of Oasis Legal Services, providing legal immigration services to LGBTQ+ refugees and immigrants. Oasis staff have a combined 35 years of experience serving the LGBTQ+ immigrant community.
